Brent,
As is so often true with your posts, this is wise
counsel. We usually regret decisions made in haste.

Subject: [LML] Report of my
accident
Don, I was greatly relieved to hear you ,
as the old saying goes, had a "good" landing and was able to walk away. Your
ability to stick to your training saved your butt and now, in the aftermath,
the stark realization of your "near death experience" has shown you the face
of mortality. My advice to you is "Don't look away."
In life we
are faced with two types of decisions, those that are easy to change and those
that are hard to change. You want to make as few of the second type as
possible. In that spirit and given that this incident has been a shock it
would not be a good idea to make any permanent decision regarding your flying.
Your spirit was traumatized. Let it heal before setting your course. Trust
that you will know when it is time.
Regards Brent
