Recently I had a scare because of bad weather and a bad decision to go fly. The long and short of it is that I am still here to tell the tale, although while I was sitting up there on my loansome I realised I had gotten myself into a situation I had previously read about in magazines and wondered how I was going to get out of this one, if at all.

The best of us make mistakes and fortunately some of us get away with them, both to share our experience with others and learn from them ourselves. Recently I watched an interview with a successful CEO. When asked what he values in an employee his answer surprised me. He believes that until an employee who has made at least 3 monumental mistakes  and learned from them is far more valuable to him then one who has not.

Have faith in your little airplane and yourself...strap it back on and blast off..one thing is guarantee..your'e not going to run dry again!
