Please note what Scott said about possible other problems.  Low fluid?   Bad
pressure switch?

Also, have you been doing your monthly free-fall tests?  If it had been a
cold day, quite possibly, that nose gear never would have come down.  Maybe
you need to replace that nose gear gas spring with a 120 # unit from
McMaster-Carr.
