 David, don't worry about the side-by-side...it's exactly my set up.  First,
you can easily see/reach it from either seat (I fly from the right seat
sometimes).  Second, you can hook up switches on your stick to scroll through
both screens.
 
 I love my Chelton and would rather know that what I'm flying behind is proven
and, for all intents, certified.....especially when it's 200 & 1.....
