I propose hosting the September Lancair Flyers/Builders Breakfast in Medford, Oregon. 

 

Saturday, September 17 seems to be a decent date.  The weather has cooled here some by then for a nice morning flight.  We are just across the border from California.  This location may appeal to both North and Central California flyers as well as Oregon flyers.

 

Most west coast flyers are familiar with the area while in transit to/from Northwest EAA Flyin in Arlington, Washington or to/from the factory BBQ flyin in Redmond, Oregon.

 

Medford is towered class 'D' airspace with a 8800' x 150' runway.  There are 3.5 FBO's, one of which is adjacent to the terminal building.  The terminal building has a nice restaurant (Red Baron Restaurant and Lounge).

 

 

I will repeat this post at a later date as some LML'ers may be on there way or already at Oshkosh.
