This was discussed a short time ago, but I still haven't got a definitive answer. I'm helping out another group member with his avionics installation, and have some concerns about his GPS antenna location. Maybe someone out there can help. Has anyone in the group received approach certification for a GPS system in a Lancair 4 with an internal antenna (in the tail, just forward of the horizontal stab)? If so, do you have any substantiating data you'd be willing to share to help me out with the feds?
