Has anyone figured out how to make an aileron trim indicator for a IV-P?...

Colyn, you could easily rig one of the Ray Allen Co position sensors for this purpose. You may already have one around that you're using for the flap position sensor? Just mount it in the aileron next to the trim servo.

I believe that most folks consider this extra expense and complexity with little benefit--for the following reasons: 1) It's very easy to look out the left window to see where the trim tab is. Even at night, there's normally enough ambient light to make this assesement. 2) Unlike the elevator trim, the aileron trim for departure will normally be the same as what you had for landing--as long as you keep the fuel burn somewhat balanced between the wings, and 3) Even with the trim tab at a limit, it's very easy to counteract an out of trim in roll with manual aileron input.

My two cents for what it's worth.
