A quick check on the noise source it to trying using the back up battery on the EL and see if the noise is still on the avionics when you bring them up just on the ship power, battery only, engine down. Try moving some wires around to see if anything changes. The Lancair has incadecent ring lights with an Ameri-King controller. These replaced the Fiber lights with did not work very well. Again no hum. One comment on using fiberlights. They do midigate the hum problem somewhat but if you are going to light radios swithches ect you will stil need another system.
