The problem is that detonation cracks spark plug ceramics which can result in pre-ignition, which can destroy the engine in 30 seconds or less. We have way too much hard data on this to discount it. Do you have any idea how high your ICPs are? Have you measured them? We have measured them in engines set up like yours. It can be quite scary. Be CERTAIN you are VERY rich at high power to keep the ICPs in line. It takes a lOT more fuel than most would think. Walter
