Ed Sikora asks about using tinnerman washers on control surface attach points...

I'm using them for the cowl screws.  Concerning the control surfaces, I think
you'll find you aren't removing them often once flying begins unless you plan on
trailering your plane frequently.  But during the building process you can
attach and remove the surfaces with just a few of the screws and don't have to
torque them down hard, so you aren't really wearing the screw holes much.  I
wouldn't bother with tinnermans at these locations.
