The part that fits the bushing hole should also penetrate the stick. This will make it impossible to rotate or pull off the stick grip from the stick. I followed some others idea to drill the hole about 15 degrees rotated inboard to make the stick grip fit the hand position better. If you hold your hand relaxed as it would be resting on the grip, you should notice that your fingers are angled in slightly. Photos upon request. I would have to search through my archive to find them. I would like to add that cutting a slot in the top of the tubing of the stick will help with routing the wiring down and out the grip.
