The manual gives an moment (inch-arm) change of 1516 in-lbs, which results in a CG move aft of 0.50" when gear is retracted at ~3000 lbs. At 2350 lbs, this changes the CG 0.65" aft. I was recently told the actual change is 1.22" measured. Has anyone else measured the actual CG change with gear swing (at empty weight)? Question about Center of Gravity (CG) change with swinging the gear in the Lancair IVP.
