I understand that the 530 is being initially developed for the turbine
powered Malibu (or Mirage).  Think it is a number of months away from being
offered.  I'm installing 2-430's in mine, as well as 2- ARNAV 5200's.
5200's will be used for moving map as well as engine instrumentation.  The
companion item to consider for the 430 is the HSI from Sandel.  Garmin and
Sandel have collaborated so that the normally large bundle of wires,
switches, and annunciates needed for the interface is reduced to 6 wires.
They have made their software compatible with each other.
