However, here is address and phone number: Jim Rahm 209 Cessna Blvd. Daytona Beach, FL 32124 904 788 2852 If interested, consider the following. The product appears to be a superior replacement for the Continental 550. The prototype has about 300-400 hours on it with little problems in the power plant (as I understand it). I have flown it and am suitably impressed. There is only one flying engine. There are several airplanes - never flown yet - with this engine installed sans reduction gear. One or two have been waiting for the gear for as long as 18 months. These builders have been on ice for that long. No way to fly the bird - just sitting. There have been predictions made over the past year, that the reduction gears would be forthcoming in various time frames - one month, two weeks, etc etc etc. So far all of those predictions have fallen through. The latest and theoretically production version of the reduction gear has been recently installed in the prototype engine/aircraft (so I'm told) and now the first few reduction gears supposedly are to be delivered shortly. I have a deposit with EngineAir for one of the engines and would seriously love to put in my order. As it stands, I'm on the fence - I need to move on with the project and I feel stymied because I don't dare lock myself in to this power plant until I can be sure that I won't be sitting on the ground waiting for engine components when I should be out flying. If just one or two more EngineAir projects get into the air, I'm ready to open the floodgates of my wallet, but until then, I've got to hold my breath and hope I don't run out of time.
