My 2 cents worth. Keep the LML apart from being an EAA chapter. We provide more to each other's needs than even we realize. All the paperwork involved with being an EAA chapter is not going to result in greater information flow. Especially on how to stiffen an aileron to prevent flutter or how to rectify an elevator/stab/controls to relieve the back pressure when flaps are deployed. What would the EAA recommend in the present heavy control problem when flaps are deployed? Would their recommendation be better if we were a Chapter? Would it be more or less than what Lancair has offered for a solution to this problem? The basic question is how would we be better off as LML subscribers? I would be willing to hear those answers. I feel when the LML is discovered by EAA they will be glad to keep us separate from them so they can refer members to the LML at little cost to the EAA. We are the EAA when it comes to building Lancairs. We will be better off keeping ourselves independent and free. We are the leaders with Lancair building and becoming stronger. If it ain't broke don't fix it. Jerry Grimmonpre' L320 McHenry, IL >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> LML homepage: http://www.olsusa.com/Users/Mkaye/maillist.html
