The results are exactly as advertised by Gami. George Braly has done all of us a favor by bringing some very old operating (i.e large radial engines) methods to help modernize our air cooled horizontally opposed engines. Until Gami's were available, we HAD to operate on the rich side because pre-gami engines run rough on the lean side. Now with properly configured injectors, all cylinders peak within 0.5 gph and do not run rough. In fact my engine can be leaned smoothly up to the point where it will shut down. Cylinder head temps and EGT are all lower naturally since the engine is producing less power when leaned. However, you can regain the power by adding manifold pressure up to the point where you regain the same airspeed as on the rich side, and then behold, the fuel flow is less and the temps are still less. Thousands of operators can attest to these results. "Leaning with Gami's" is not like in prior years. All of the old arguments of how to operate "rich or lean" do not apply. However, do not try to lean aggresively without balanced injectors.
