I think in order to make it work you would find that you need to do several things: 1) Lower the gear door cylinder a bit to provide the extended reach that's going to be needed... this will entail the installation of a new hardpoint into the side of the nosegear tunnel below the existing hardpoint. 2) Make the gear door control horn taller and mount it closer to the center of the door... an interesting benefit is that there will be more mechanical advantage holding the door closed with a repositioned control horn. 3) Change the length of the cylinder sleeve to allow the extra travel the cylinder will require... that one's a no brainer, as there's plenty of travel available with the stock cylinder. I think the spring will also need to be shortened a bit as well, but that will be dependent on the final geometry of the new layout and how much travel will actually be required. So who's going to be first? >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> LML homepage: http://www.olsusa.com/Users/Mkaye/maillist.html
