 The arrow stock I was referring to (and I think all that is available) is
 hollow and appears to have the fibers oriented length-wise. Perhaps someone
 out there that's into bows 'n arrows knows whether there is solid arrow

 I've only seen the hollow stuff, it's about 1/4" OD (+/-). It just happened
 to fit my needs so I didn't look for other sizes or for solid stock.

 [Lots of places out there sell CF rod and tube.  I get most of mine from hobby shops, the RC airplane guys use them a lot.  Also kite shops... those big aerobatic kites use CF rod for their backbones and ribs.  If you need industrial strength (sic) rod in a multitude of diameters, try this place: http://www.graphitestore.com/items_list.asp?action=prod&prd_id=96&cat_id=34&curPage=1 They also have tubes, square section products, etc.  I hope this helps.   <Marv>          ]
