I am giving serious thought to replacing my wooden fixed pitch prop with an
electric MT constant speed to improve the takeoff performance of my 235
powered by a 235-L2C.  I know it adds weight and costs multibucks.  I would
appreciate comments from users of this kind of prop concerning maintenance,
reliability and failure modes.

Is there anybody running a three bladed MT on a 235 or 290 Lycoming?

Is it better to work through Lancair or work directly with MT?
