You may know that Lancair Kits has started advertising in Flying, but this edition is a little different. This Month we have begun a series of ads that will run through Oshkosh that is devoted to our giveaway of a new Lancair Legacy FG kit. The proceeds of this raffle will go to benefit the Kids Experience charity that is promoted by Flying Magazine and other notable personalities. Lets hope that the person who wins will enjoy his Lancair as much as we enjoy ours. Additionally there was an small article on the latest from Lancair Certified. It seems that their Company VP is bragging about his non-stop trip between Bend, Oregon and Fort Worth, Texas. He is just so proud of their 400 going that distance in approximately 6 1/2 hours. I guess he has never taken a Lancair IV-P. I just made the trip from Redmond, Oregon to Fort Worth, Texas, non-stop in 4 hours and 27 minutes. Not bad for a home built plane. I guess we should let him know somehow. Perhaps we should challenge them to a race to Sun & Fun...what do you think? Joe Bartels
