Eventually you will want a nice 1/16" gap between the inboard and outboard skins. My gap was a little too big by that time and I had to build it back out with flox and other fillers. (I used a waxed piece of .062 aluminum to establish the finish gap between the wing sections.) OTOH, you can't leave the skin overly long, because it will bump into the outboard wing skin when you get to fitting it to the inboard. I'd recommend leaving maybe 1/8" extra for now, then trim that back as required when you go to fit the outboard skin. As a general policy, TRIM NOTHING UNTIL YOU ABSOLUTELY HAVE TO! >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> LML homepage: http://www.olsusa.com/Users/Mkaye/maillist.html
