Seems to me if there was indeed a design problem, then they would immediately ship the new parts to all owners of record free of charge. Just my opinion. About a week ago I had the opportunity to fly John's Legacy over to Redmond and took the bad parts with me to show to Tim Ong. He told me that they had looked into our reported problems, agreed there was a design problem with the bellcranks, redesigned some of the parts, built prototype parts in house, sent revisions to a supplier and had new parts in inventory to solve the problem. These new parts will be in new kits and are available for sale to anyone who wants to upgrade existing planes. In less than three weeks they acknowledged a problem, redesigned it, and had replacement parts in stock. If that's not worth a pat on the back I don't know what is.
