I wanted to share my recent experience in Redmond. I showed up Jan 3rd to
start my Legecy FG and after 20 working days it went to body work, everything
done(canopy, stub wings closed, windows in, gear fairings fitted). I was
treated very well by everyone and got a real sense of customer orientation.
The FG kit fit together very nicelly and between Brett and Chris in the build
shop they really know the Legacy. I would highly recommend the build shop to
anyone starting a Lancair project. I plan to pick up the plane March 1 (body
work done, in primer) along with my engine, wiring harness, and panel: take it
back to Austin and get it in the air by May. I did a demo flight with Mel in
the company FG with the Superior turbonormalized engine, sweet plane.
