No one has appointed me the grand phu-ba of Lancair pilots, at least not that I am aware of. Unless that happens, you are required to conform to my ideas only if you voluntarily hold me in very high esteem, which is your choice and is not recommended by me. Otherwise you can look at my opinions and see where they fit into your world view. It may lead you to rethink some of your actions and act more conservatively (as I define it), or it may lead you to push the envelope a bit more (again, as I define it) just to prove me wrong. As someone with a vested interest in keeping insurance rates down for the Lancairs, I do have a strong interest in you (and everyone else) not crashing in one and will continue to do my part in spewing out ideas and thoughts, that in my opinion, move the group in that direction. If you have a differing view, you are welcome to share those as well. So far, all that I have learned about your views from your post is that you do not classify yourself as a careful pilot. That is a good start in self awareness. Do tell me more...
