After doing all the wiring in
three Lancairs, I can't emphasize enough how important it is to bring everything
-- everything - to a single point ground. This will make all the
difference in the amount of noise you get in radio transmission and
reception. Check out Bob Nuckolls' aeroelectrics web site, and check
B&C for their "forest of tabs" grounding bus. "Plastic" airplanes are
more subject to ground loops and noise propagation, since they don't have the
massive ground plane that the airframe of a metal airplane
provides.
