Jeff:

When I started my Legacy (#203), I had mostly Bonanza time, plus about 125 hours flying my RV-6A.  I have about 125 hours on my Legacy now, and I absolutely love the airplane.  I enjoyed my RV-6A, and I have nothing against RVs, but there is no comparison.  I haven't flown my airplane in actual IFR yet, but John Halle (who has over 400 hours on his Legacy) has done so many times, as have others.  Both John and I have landed a number of times without drama at Twin Oaks airpark (7S3) for the monthly pancake breakfast.  Most of the other airplanes in our EAA chapter there are RVs, since our chapter includes the RV "Home Wing".  The field is 2400' long, and it is not a problem.

The Legacy is a terrific airplane.  By all means go to Redmond and fly N199L.
