I often encounter the "ugh its a plastic aeroplane" that's why you're having
trouble with your radios comment from aeroelectricians. I've recently
upgraded to the latest Garmin Comm and audio panel. I get 5's during
transmission and reception on the ground but once airborne their is a lot of
electronic noise (background hiss) during transmission. The intercom is
clear so it does not appear to be merely a "squelsh" problem picking up
ambient cabin noise.
Have people encountered antenna bonding problems
and is their a simple fix for these "darn" plastic aeroplanes..:)
Are
there any radio experts who'd like to throw in their 2cents of
valuable insight?
Thanks guys
