My friend Chris and I stood on the edge of the runway and witnessed Ron's maiden flight. After three years of building and tweaking (mostly tweaking) Ron Jones' 1969L got airborne. The engine sounded great and it was a delight to witness. VRRRRRrrrmmmmm.
Ron has been another Legacy builder I have gotten to build beside at RHV and I wanted to congratulate him. I know he'll enjoy his Legacy as much as I'm enjoying mine.
Well done Ron!
