Yes, and if you could incorporate this in your AOA product, it would be the best of both worlds.  You see, I'm deciding on whether to get Lancair's gear minder system, which also includes a squat gear function -OR- your AOA / gear minder system.  My decision would be a lot easier if you can add a squat gear function also!  You are probably right that my pitot/static system has some sort of error at slow speeds.  Yesterday, we did some slow flights with two people and approximately half fuel.  The IAS was at 60 knots (no flaps, no gear), and is was only starting to buffet a bit.  I added a small amount of flaps, and the buffet disappeared.  <<Since the AOA is a gear warner maybe it should also be a OG gear safety device too>>

Please give the squat switch idea some thought and consideration...

PS I know that the pressure sensors and water drain will be installed near the wing tips.   What kind of sending medium will go from the wing tip to the cockpit, wires or tubes?
