Subject: Fixed pitch ferry prop for LNC2 (L360)

I have had a prop strike with my MTV-12-B/175-59d prop and need to beg or rent a fixed pitch prop to ferry the plane back to the hangar, while I wait for MT to deliver a new set of blades.

I will fly it with the gear down, probably at only 110-115 knots, and normally in this configuration would be running about 18 inches MP and 2200 RPM (or at least that is what I do on the downwind legs, just before adding flap)

Tim Ong from lancair kits suggested contacting owners with experience using fixed pitch props to see what range of props would do the job, and so I am starting with this posting

The runway where the plane sits now is 3100 feet, with the first 1900 feet seal and the remainder grass, and is at sea level.

Normal max performance takeoff roll at MAUW on dry grass is 690 feet  (mean of 5 takeoffs)

Any advice much appreciated
