The idea is to divert the air around the flat spot on the side of the cylinder that has no fins. The part that I made that looks like a scoop, needs to be closed on the top. Or a box as Pat describes. I plan on working on the bottom area by the end of this week, I had to order some .050 aluminum to do the work.
