Just so Legacy builders aren't surprised. Mt flaps sat below the wing fillet and aileron. I fixed by slotting my hinges to allow the flap to reflex in more and sit higher. (It was actually a tip Carsten gave me). I floxed the hole in the flap rib and floxed around the hinge so it keeps this spot if disassembled. Here's a picture:
