I can't remember exactly what issue it was in, but after some consultation with others (namely Tom Allen) I sent in an article to the LML on my installation which covered both the rudder bell crank/dual push tubes and the cross over gear arrangement. As soon as I can get back to the hangar office to my archives I will let you know what issue it was in, or fax you a cc. I have about 80 hours on my IV and the rudder system seems to work very smoothly. Title of the article was "Happiness is a tight rudder" , and I am happy. Bob Young, LIV N32BY (see Sport Aviation Dec. p 62)- I don't own Randolph stock, but the idea of the UV blocking primer seemed like a good way to go. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> LML website: http://members.olsusa.com/mkaye/maillist.html LML Builders' Bookstore: http://www.buildersbooks.com/lancair Please remember that purchases from the Builders' Bookstore assist with the management of the LML.
