It went away when I developed the routine practice of starting the engine on one tank (left), and then switching to the other while taxiing and before run-up. Has never hiccupped in flight since, and I presume this means there is some "dead-space cavitation" in the lines prior to initial startup in the lines between the tanks and fuel pump. Let us know if this technique works for you, too.
