 Hi guys,
 
 I've got the iris/lens type indicator lights in LPD--
 
 Has anyone experienced the phenomenon whereby the iris seems to close all by
itself during flight or taxi, making your hear do a little flutte your head
when you select gear down and only have 2 greens?
 
 Has anyone installed an alternative and where might one get one--a search
through aircraft spruce has only thrown up one system..
 
 How long do the bulbs appear to last?
