I had mine made at the local sheet metal
shop. It was out of polished stainless. Both kick panels have been
valuable in protecting the door frame. I definately would do it
again.

I remember looking at Bryan Burr's ES at Sun 'N Fun. He had made a
metal sill for his passenger door and baggage door. I found some 2" L
aluminum at Home Depot and made a sill for the baggage door. It only
took an hour or so to fit it. I might just clear coat it or maybe paint
it the color of the plane. I figure I can take it out and repaint it or
whatever, when it gets banged up. Just an idea I wanted to pass
on.
