Mike & Scott -

We have both hardeners and used the slow wi/ flox to bond the right VS piece on and then to close out the VS. No problems wi/ exotherming, but we had 3 people, total, helping. It helps a lot to get the Jeffco/flox spread out as fast as possible then go back to smooth and mound it in the middle of the caps.  We used it to bond in the FB door (just like the builder assist shop does) and it worked OK, but in some places, it got pretty hot. We used calking tubes and when you do this, it tends to push the resin out of the mix, unless the mixture is a tad wetter than one would make it.  For the fuselage, we ordered a final quart of the Hysol.

John
