Just my unsolicited 2 cents...

Acetone has never come closer than 10ft from my LNC2. I do use it by the gallon, but only to clean up tools, brushes and work space after each epoxy session.
Methylene  Chloride is the only chemical I will use to clean parts prior to bonding.
