I bought my kit from an individual in Oregon (a sales tax free state) and it stayed there for a time before I brought it home. But after talking to some folks, I realized that I may potentially have a problem with showing how long it stayed in Oregon. So when I go to register the aircraft, how do I prove it stayed there the prescribed 120 days (if I remember correctly)? I didn't stop to think at the time about registration. What is the procedure? How do you prove the sale took place in Oregon and the plane stayed there? Thanks!
