If the Lancair can glide that far with the prop feathered I'm selling my Glasair. He may have had headwinds, etc. There are probably quite a few mitigating factors. Steve > LNC2's have a 7:1 glide ratio with the prop in cruise pitch and > a 22:1 glide ratio with the prop in coarse pitch.
