 I am truly saddened by the loss of another of our Lancair family.  Shannon
was a true advocate for the Lancair Legacy kit and his enthusiasm will be
sorely missed.  I understand that the memory from the Chelton system that was
aboard his Legacy has been recovered and hopefully will provide valuable
information as to the nature of the engine failure as well as other flight
perameters that led to his landing short of the airport.
