 Although I never met Shannon, I exchanged some emails with him when he was
designing his electrical system and was seeking/giving advice through posts on
this list and on the aeroelectric list.  On the aeroelectric list, the
detailed exchange between Shannon and Bob Knuckolls was very helpful for
understanding issues relating to dual electric systems.  I am very sorry as we
all are for what happened and extend my deepest condolences to the family.  I
sincerely hope the investigation yields insights that will help current and
future pilots of Lancair and other aircraft.
