Actually, it will be more like three kits depending on whether you want the lightest aircraft possible (good thermal but only a little acoustic attenuation on the high frequency end), medium weight (good thermal and medium attenuation) or maximum thermal and acoustic. We were able to pull about 8 dB out of Dave's plane (in climb out, cruise was about 6.5-7 dB). Since the dB scale is logarithmic, that's actually a lot of noise. We added about 25 lbs as I remember to get that. More would be possible with some additional weight. The kit will include absorbers for the walls, felt/barriers for the floor and nose wheel well and a 3 part isolation/barrier/absorber firewall blanket for the inside. Also there will be gaskets for noise leaks sealing, film, tape, etc. I am pretty much up to my ass until after OSH at this point but I am trying to get the kit assembled by then or slightly after.
