This electronic ignition system is a huge improvement over mags only in smoothness, fuel economy and power. Some time ago there developed a wierd engine roughness in the top 100 RPM at full power. This turned out to be some sort of interference in the electronic ignition from the mag. After numerous attempts at shielding, relocating and grounding I got another electronic ignition. This time from Lightspeed Engineering. Nothing like experimenting! It cured the roughness and I like it but I don't have enough time yet to be able to compare more than that.
