He gave me a tour of his hanger/shop and showed me his project; I believe he was installing the canopy at that time. With his Legacy hangared in the backyard, I thought his place at the airpark was ideal and what dreams are made of! Wendell was a wonderful person, always wearing a smile and a sporting a sense of humor. He often sent out jokes via email and was also quick to offer building advice. Like the article said, he seemed to be really enjoying his retirement years! Wendell, a fine man indeed. I will certainly miss him! May God bless his soul! Dana L2K-165
