Curtis Krouse's directions are essentially correct, however the ferrites are
more effective if spaced along the cable with about the thickness of the
toroids between them. In other words, if the ferrites are 0.125" thick,
arrange them on the cable with that spacing.
It helps to stick them to the cable with a dab of something like "Goop" or
the like so they won't wander around while shrinking the shrink-tube.
