From a corrosion standpoint carbon and aluminum don't like each other. They
are far apart on the galvanic table. Basically, over time and particularly
given a warm moist environment you will find that the aluminum part will
corrode unless they are electrically isolated. In addition you'd have to
find a bonding adhesive that was compatible to both the carbon and the
aluminum.
