In my case - L235/320 - I had problems with oil cooling using a 9-vane 
cooler.  Totally inadequate.  There were no leaks in baffling.  So.... 
  Switched to 
a 13-vane cooler.  1,000 hours of very adequate oil cooling.  Advise you do 
the same.
