 Advise needed,
 I'm installing the gas strut on a LIV door and have seen 2 different place  they have attached.  I was wondering what is the preferred location.  The plans call for the strut at the top of the door by the hinge.  I have seen some put the strut just above the window on the door.  I know the geometry is  different for both.  Which place would give less twisting and warping of the door/fuselage.
