Too bad I can't get feet per second. Once again to 8500 feet, a little colder at 0*C and this time I threw twenty pounds in the back to make up for less fuel. I was at a Gross weight of 1630 with 7 gals in each wing and the CG at 26 - After moving the 53 pounds back, the CG was at 27.6, close to yesterday's test. Indicated speeds were 176-177 Kts with 197-198 TAS in all regimes and measurements were only taken while the Lady Bug stowaway was in flight: CG 26 - 305 kph GS CG 27.6 - 306-307 kph GS, then moving the weight back up front, CG 26 - 308-309 kph GS Allowing for irratic satellite movement and spoofing by Air Force One and the local TFR, no difference. BTW, 305 kph = 164.6868 kts, 306-307 kph = 165.4968 kts and 308-309 kph= 166.5767 kts. I had a bit of a head wind that I was aimed at - constant heading, constant altitude - and, as you can see, pretty much constant speed. Go figure? Maybe I am already generally flying at the "neutral point?"
